This Tuesday, we saw the August sire summary, where evaluations were published for all bulls. Genus ABS are delighted to continue to provide sires that help customers make profit from genetic progress – with the launch of 17 brand new sires this August!
With regards to rankings, we are proud to announce Genus ABS have 13 of the top 20 £PLI genomic sires! And 11 of these are available through Sexcel®, the best fertility product in the industry!
This proof run we celebrate the prolific impact that DE-SU 14222 KENOBI, ABS CRIMSON and ABS SASSAFRAS have had in recent years. KENOBI and CRIMSON have been used extensively as sires of Sons, with 51 Sons between them that top the £PLI charts today. The third of this magnificent trio is ABS SASSAFRAS. With over 4,000 registered progeny in the UK, SASSAFRAS has been one of the most popular bulls of our time. and we are delighted to release his first son Denovo SIZZLER to the Sexcel® line-up.

DeNovo 17268 JENKINS P with a PLI of £818 is the highest Polled bull available on the UK market.
He has great Production +777kgs of Milk +0.12% Fat, +0.06% Protein. He has exceptional management traits +174 Lifespan in days and +9.7 Daughter Fertility. He will breed smaller, more efficient daughters with an extreme maintenance score of -21KG.
DeNovo 16701 HUNTSVILLE launches this time with a PLI of £765. He is a son of Pine-Tree Heroic out of a Duke Dam.
HUNTSVILLE is a production powerhouse with +989 kgs of Milk and a phenomenal 95kgs of combined Fat and Protein! He also has the ideal ratio of lower stature and positive chest width suitable for intensive management systems.

ABS SASSAFRAS
ABS SASSAFRAS; one of the most popular selling sires in recent years.
With a PLI of £698 he launches with initial proof information and retains his abundance of Fat kgs +51.4 and +0.35% Fat. In addition, his proof shows improvements with his Daughter Fertility which has now increased to +8.0. Renowned for his type profile Sassafras continues with a flawless linear that will breed sound, balanced superior replacements.

Introducing our #1 £PLI sire (#2 in the industry)… Wilra KNOWHOW, weighing in at a phenomenal £PLI of £909.
KNOWHOW is a son of newly proven star De-Su 14222 Kenobi this complete all-rounder, provides double-digit component percentages, 0.14% Fat and +0.10% Protein, which is extremely impressive given his abundance of production +908 KGS Milk.
