Kenny Wells joins ABS Global as the new beef genetic nucleus manager
Kenny Wells has joined ABS Global, Inc., as the beef genetic nucleus manager. In this newly created position, he will manage the genetic nucleus herd, and work with the ABS beef product development group and supply chain teams to deliver proprietary genetics in line with the company’s overall beef strategy.
Prior to joining ABS, Wells managed the Jackson Agricultural Research Station for The Ohio State University. He also served as an Extension beef academic specialist at Michigan State University, and held graduate research assistant positions in beef cattle production and reproduction. He holds a master of science from Washington State University, and a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from The Ohio State University.
