Linear Choice: Two New Sires

Exciting news! Two new sires have been added to the St. Jacobs Linear Choice lineup. You can read all about the new releases in this blog! Sires in the Linear Choice lineup are truly where FORM MEETS FUNCTION, and these two new sires are no slouches.  

Although Linear Choice sires were first designed to offer a solution to commercial dairy producers, we have seen that a variety of customer types use them. You may expect moderately sized, healthy, and productive cows from these right-side linear sires, as Linear Choice sires are hand-selected to produce balanced cows.  

94HO21662 ROQUEFORT 

ROQUEFORT displays a beautiful righthand linear with over 1300 pounds of MILK. He is one of the only bulls in the breed that is under a half point of stature, strength, and body depth but is also over 2.0 PTAT and over 2.0 UDC. He comes from the Snow-N Denises Dellia family through the strong breeding Robust Ruby cow from Sandy-Valley. 

94HO21721 MURPHY 

MURPHY comes with a different sire stack with being a Mimic that goes back to Ahead, MEDLEY, and Expresso. He delivers 1500 pounds of milk and over 70 pounds of protein with a right-hand linear that you come to expect from the LINEAR CHOICE SIRE lineup. MURPHY will give you some slope to the rump, a little set to the hock, and a shallow udder.
